AxCrypt is a GNU licensed software that allows us to encrypt files on the Windows operating system and can protect and hide them by a key. Allows
encrypt, compress, decrypt, view and edit files using the algorithm using AES-128 and SHA-1. Encrypted files have the axx extension *. and displayed with a different icon.
After the download and installation proceed to put it in English at the right-click any file to your PC and choose AxCrypt> Language> English.
To encrypt a file with a password, you just have to click with right mouse button on it and select AxCrypt> Encrypt, enter the password chosen and accepted.
To open the encrypted file, click with right mouse button on it and select AxCrypt> Open, enter the password chosen and accepted. To have the
non-encrypted original file again, click your right mouse button and select AxCrypt> Decrypt enter your password and accept.
AxCrypt also allows an erase files securely, that is forever.
